The trip was simply overwhelming! At Kilimanjaro we were guided by Ray himself, very experienced and humorous. He took great care of our friend who was suffering from altitude sickness and still made the summit possible for the others. The team of cooks and porters also supported us to a very high standard. All in all it was a fantastic experience that we can recommend to any nature lover! We all enjoyed the trip to the fullest and recommend this local company whose staff and partners are personable and smart. The price was one of the cheapest and once again shows fairness to the clients. The additional cost depends on the equipment you brought and tips for guides, cooks and porters.

I would like to thank Raymond and his Team for providing myself and my son with the most memorable experience. Our family has a long, storied history in Tanzania going back to the late 1800's and I had been planning to take my son , now 22, to show him this part of his heritage. Researching a Kili climb is a daunting task. I chose to go with a local company, and found Tanzaniatrail. A private safari/climb is what we wanted, and the price was incredibly reasonable for the package. The 4 day serengeti/crater safari was simply incredible all round. We were lucky enough to see everything we could hope for including leopard, cheetahs, and rhinos. For the Kili climb we chose the 8 Day Northern Route . For us it was lived up to all our expectations. I can't give enough praise to the whole crew that took care of us on the mountain.

Our 9 days safari in Northern Tanzania has been tailor-made from France (easy communication by e-mail) Our itinerary: Tarangire National Park, Lake manyara National Park, 3 days in Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Natron with visit of Massai villages. Our driver/guide welcomed us at the airport; then we spent a very good time during these 9 days, we saw wonderful landscapes, we met nice people and we had a caring and nice guide that did not spare his efforts to show us all what we were expecting. We were dreaming of a Safari for a long time.... checked several options online to find a trustful and local tour operator. For us it was important to know that not only the tour operator benefits from our booking but also the local guides and drivers. With this in mind, we were more than happy to come across Tanzaniatrail which is living exactly this philosophy! Raymond is very supportive and fulfilled all our requests for our individually customized safari. Once we arrived in Arusha, we experienced a very warm welcome by Raymond and Kennedy, our driver and safari guide. Kennedy has an immense knowledge of the wildlife and the African culture. Thanks to this, we were lucky to spot all the animals of the African Savannah and learned a lot about their nature and behavior, as well as about the indigenous people. Beside this, we had a great time with Kennedy, a wonderful soul with a great humor. For us it was a once in a lifetime experience and we can highly recommend Tanzaniatrail for any adventure in this beautiful part of the world!

With Tanzaniatrail we have managed to fulfill the dream of reaching the top of Uhuru peak.The organization was very good, the guides very experienced and cautious to help us reach the roof of Africa, the Uhuru peak. Known as Kilimanjaro. We decided to do the 8 days Lemosho Tour. A very beautiful and diverse tour in terms of landscapes. The porters and the kitchen crew have given their best to serve us with comfort and good meals. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the time which in the end was flying with our guides Raymond and August. I can only recommend this organization and would again choose the team.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in beautiful Zanzibar for six days. Per recommendation by Raymond, we stayed at the Michamvi Sunset Bay, where we had direct access to the beach - it couldn't have been more stunning! Not only was our trip expertly organised, but we also had room to make changes when we could or to experience other things and do activities such as snorkeling, swimming with dolphins etc. It allowed us to enjoy our honeymoon to its fullest potential as the responsibility of planning was taken over by Tanzaniatrail.
