This path, a real insider tip, is a strategic move for better acclimatization. After 11 kilometers, past barren cliffs and over ancient lava fields, the group reaches Moir Hut Camp. Here, at 4200 meters, it’s time to take a breath and let the silence of the altitude have its effect. The breathtakingscenery makes you forget the day’s efforts and strengthens the anticipation for the adventures that still await.

Then, it’s down to BarrancoCamp, where the landscape changes. Here, on the ridge between marsh and alpine desert, you enjoyspectacular views that change with every step. After 8 kilometers, we reach the camp, located at thefamous Barranco Wall – an unforgettable end to an eventful day.

We continue to Karanga Camp, where silence and vastness welcome us. This place is a gift from themountain, a haven for rest and acclimatization. Here, we recharge, listen to the stories of our fellowclimbers, and prepare for the final stage of the ascent.

It’s time: Summit Day! Still in the darkness of night, we continue our way. We climb to the highest point ofAfrica. This day will test your limit, but also show your strength. The cold bites, the wind challenges us, but each step brings us closer to the goal. We stick together, take breaks, warm up with hot tea. And then: thelast meter, the summit! Emotions explode, tears of joy freeze in the cold as we reach the summit ofKilimanjaro. After this pinnacle, we return to Barafu Camp to celebrate our collective victory.
